Ah, the romance of RPGs Previously, I reviewed the The Bard’s Tale 4 (2016) (Baldur’s Gate III) (PC) by Beamdog and Bioware, and I have come to the conclusion that I absolutely love this sort of fantasy RPG. The early Bard’s Tale series is by far my favourite series of games, and it was a significant influence on me when I started playing games. There is a true evocative quality to fantasy fiction and art that feels timeless, and the best fantasy video games are able to transfer some of that timelessness.
