A man kidnaps Paramedic Nick’s wife, forcing him to play a 12-round “game of death” over the phone, directing Nick to different locations. He immediately goes to the airport where his wife was supposed to fly from, but he and the plane are captured.
Fleeing from the prison cell, the wife, knowing from experience how attempts to transfer her husband into the hands of the police end, they negotiate with various bandits and various swindlers and provide them with the opportunity to do this job for a fee. But they also understand that it is difficult and dangerous to hand over such dangerous criminals to the police. However, they are confident that they will be able to keep them behind bars until the denouement. The robbers know that their help to the police will never be recognized, and the investigation can go on for a very long time. Therefore, they are forced to endure, torment themselves tirelessly, and work every day to please the “bossâ€, who is obliged to complete the task until the last moment.
Not finding heroes in the police, the bandits remain broke and begin to “earn” money solely on deceit and extortion. In the end, they kidnap Froyanova and force her to participate in the very “game of death”. Just at this moment, it becomes clear to everyone that the bandits are using the paramedic’s wife as bait.
But Danila, who until that moment did not know what kind of game it was, completes the task of the bandits and returns to them to detain them until the police arrive. Worst case, take them on…
The film is very interestingly staged, although it is delayed, because I still want to shoot a “small†action movie, but it turned out to be something between a film about a private detective and Kubrick’s Space Odyssey 2001. But all this is not the main thing in the film, and the main thing in the tape is the story itself, the story of a woman and her relationship with a vile criminal. She fights for her husband to the last, to the end, realizing that she has no other choice.
And the “bandit†in this film is already a parody, far from the image imposed on the viewer by Hollywood. There are such people, they are in our world, and at all times they have caused, and still cause, a rather ambiguous attitude, especially among women.
